Tips and techniques for working with watercolors

Best Practices for water color painting and mixing~

This is an interesting topic for me concerning watercolour painting. Mixing is always fun

and intriguing.

1. Know the colors you want to combine together ( Have a pre-knowledge or understandingof the colors your interested in putting together will reveal in your combination of colors)

2. Relax ( When you have the colors you want and you start combining them together, relax and let art be art -allow the colors to combine naturally and unfold before you)

3. Water ( Water is an important feature when it comes unto to water color painting because it's "water" color. ) Make sure you have water and use paint and not to much water. ( You should get good results in your art work from it.

4. Workable paintibrushes ( Believe it or not, the paintbrushes you decide to use in watercolor or in any painting will matter) Make sure it works with the image you are trying to capture in your work of art!
